Hi - I was wondering if anyone could help me out. (I recently got my computer
fixed, and installed a new antivirus, and now) when I want to open my C
drive, or any other drive that is always plugged into my computer, I get a
screen that asks me to choose a program to use to open my computer. So then I
have to go and pick Windows explorer, and then it opens.

The funny thing is that if I do windows+e, I can expand every drive, and go
into any folder that I want. This problem is only when I go through My
Computer.

Any suggestions? It is getting me really annoyed.

Thanks so much.

Verify that you still have security permissions set properly on the C: drive.
By defulat "Administrators & System" have FC and "Users" "Read Execute"
Check to see if a file "autorun.inf" exists on C: if it does delete and run
virus scans and malware removal tools.

Suppress every autorun.inf file on the roots of your volumes.
They can be hide and system.
