I have Outlook 2002 at the office, and Outlook 2000 at home. When I schedule
a meeting at the office, and want to "invite" myself so it will also appear
on my home computer, the email shows up at home as gobbledeegook. No
problems the other way. Is this some kind of compatibility issue between the
two versions? That doens't make sense, but I can't find any other solutions.

I hate to ask but what does the invite look like when you get it at home? Is
it just text? It could be that an iCal invite is being sent and I'm not sure
how well Outlook 2000 dealt with those (although I seem to remember it
handling them somewhat)

Yes, it is just text. Because of your post, I went in to Outlook 2000 and
unchecked the box that says, "Use I-Cal for sending appointments online." And
now it works! Thanks.
