Are the audio files in a supported format?

For a list...search Movie Maker Help for...
Files / Supported File Types.

Or are you getting a Digital Rights error?
If so this is because you are trying to use music you purchased and
downloaded online or music you "ripped" from a CD with Digital Rights
Management turned on.
To remove the DRM from the file burn it to a CD and then "rip" it from the
CD with DRM turned off.

That's because it isn't
Convert the file to WMA or WAV and use that in WMM.
