Yesterday, for some stupid reason, I got a stupid itch to customize my logon screen. So a link was given to me from a friend for a program that will change it. I download the program, find the picture I want to set and reboot my machine so that the changes will come into a affect

But right before I get to where the logon screen, this message pops up

"C:\windows\ilookup\TTIL.ex
not enough quota is available to process this command

It pops up everytime I reboot. And it pops back up everytime I close the error box

I have no idea what this means and I have no clue to get around it, if it's even possible

Can anyone help me on this? Any help would be gratefully appreciated.

It's a parasite:

You'll have to remove it. Use Adaware or Spybot Search and Destroy or both (free ver.)

But how can I remove it if I cant get to my desktop?

Thats the problem, the error keeps popping up before I can log in. Is there a way to circumvent my logon scene and just start at my desktop?

Can you login via "Safe Mode"? When your computer boots, hold down the f8 key.
If all is working properly, you should be able to see a selection list which
contains safe mode. Boot from there. Now, if you do get in from there it may not
be possible to download any programs or run them, so, you will have to try
and delete the the bug manually. Make a note of the path in advance and use
windows explorer to find ttil.exe. Let us know how it goes.

BTW, how is it that you are posting if you can't log in? Are you using
another computer?

Yeah, Im at my work computer right now.

And I tried the safe mode, and that also didnt work. It would start in safe mode, and then the error would pop up before the desktop did, not allowing me to do anything.

Would reinstalling windows xp work?

Yeah, well, that would likely work as a last resort, but you might wait
a few hours and see if someone smarter than me can get you in, perhaps boot
from your XP CD, if you have one. I believe there's a boot option. If you do
reinstall/restore your computer, I suggest that you reformat as you install
to clean everything off the drive. But please don't do it off the cuff, read
your manual or ask someone here that's done it. It will go smoother that way.
You will have to re-install all your files and programs. I would help you,
except I've never had to re-install XP, so my advice would be cloudy at best.

Here's one article to get you started on the way to a clean re-install.
