I took the hard drive out of a laptop that had died, and have put it into a
device to retrieve the files through my desktop. However, I can't find my
outlook address book or the emails... can anyone give me a hint as to what
the file may be named?

You'll need to post in an Outlook newsgroup, as this is not related to
FrontPage.

As Tom stated, this is not a FrontPage queston.
A better place would be an Outlook newsgroup such as
microsoft.public.outlook

Typically, the file would be called something like Outlook.pst

For Windows XP:

c:\ Documents & Settings\your user name\Local Settings\ Application
Data\Microsoft\Outlook

All your iutlook files will be in this directory.
