i downloaded alot of templates and i can't find them anymore. i looked for
them everywhere and i just don't see them.

Could you specify which templates? Maybe give us a link to them?

Sometimes they open in PPT and you need to save the template or a
presentation based on the template, but it's hard to tell without more
details.

Try this

on your keyboard...

hold down the Left windows key-at the same time press the E key

Then press F3 (to search)

Then enter .pot in the 'what to search for' box

Then click the 'search' button

this will locate any file on your computer ending in .pot (powerpoint
templates)

cheers

Or just windows key + F :-)

Lucy-

That's a new one on me... so thanks for that.... tis true you learn
something everyday.

One I learnt the other week was Windows and U to get the computer to read
things out in a computerized voice box :)

And windows + R is great on vista as the 'run' box on the start menu has
been buried deep down.

0o0o0o I didn't know the windows+U one :-)
I like windows+M to minimise all. And of course windows+E to open explorer.
Always handy to know the 'windows+' shortcuts as I've worked in places where
the systems are really locked down but they've forgotten to block the
shortcuts....
