There is one search box for finding everything: Click the Start button and
choose Search (like in XP). The other search boxes are for more specialized
keystroke-by-keysroke searches within a smaller range locations (indexed
searching).
It's a lot quicker and a lot easier, once you learn to use it. For the
basics click Start, choose Help and Support, click Find my Files and
Folders.
P.S. Your recendly downloaded file is wherever you put it, most likely your
Downloads folder. If you pay attention to where you're putting things when
you first save them, you won't have to use Search to find them because
you'll already know where they are.
