Norton fails to delete many files that it considers
threats on my computer so I have to manually delete
them. This is normally not a problem, but there is a
certain file in C;/documents and settings/owner/local
settings/temporary intenet files/content.ie5/ That I
cannot find. It lists the rest of the files in that
directory except a few of them. I have all files and
folders unhidden so I don't know where else to look! Any
info would be helpful! Thanks

have you tried doing a search for the file from windows explorer?

what exactly are you doing with norton and what message are you getting?

It's up to you to enter the registry and delete the reference to the file
"that is no longer there"!

Start, Control Panel, Folder Options, View, Advanced Settings, and check Show hidden files and folders. You can use Windows Explorer search facility to find the files you want.
