i can't download my pictures

i am useing windows xp and i installed the cannon digital
software for my cannon power shot s230 but the computer
prompt says no camera found. it worked ok with windows
98. any ideas?

go to canon's website and download a driver for your camera (usb if thats
what you have).
once u install that driver, you computer will recognize it.

If you are using Windows XP you should not have to

download anything. Put cable in USB port on Pc ( mine is
in the front of PC) and also in camera , turn camera to
view pictures , turn camera on , Go to " my computer" on
PC Icons and klick, Camera conection should come up on
upcoming page, klick on that and your pictures should
come up . Good luck
