I can't delete or move some e-mail messages from my inbox

I have several e-mails in my inbox that won't delete or move. They have both
been designated as spam, but when I try to delete or move them I get the
following message "an unknown error has occurred".

If you hold Shift down while you delete, does it make a difference?
