Oh yeah, that was a detailed question. Did you want replies to be as
vague as your question?
"won't let you create" doesn't say WHAT happens when you try. Does no
new-mail compose window show up on the screen? Are you using Word as
the e-mail editor or the one built into Outlook? WHICH version of
Outlook (different versions exist due to different features and
behavior)? What does "linked" your AOL account mean? Does that mean
you merely created an e-mail account for Outlook to use? If so, do you
actually have an AOL e-mail account to use? Does that AOL account
permit you POP/SMTP access to that AOL e-mail account? Did you enter
the correct server name for their mail servers? Did you enter the
correct login credentials in the e-mail account defined in Outlook so
they match the same login credentials you use when using AOL's webmail
interface to your e-mail account there?
