I can't change my color background in the tools tab

My word start with dark blue color and I try to change it to white by
clicking Tools / Options when I try to uncheck Blue background, white
text..it appears "The number must be between 1 and 1638" Can anyone help me
to solve this problem...?

These options are stored in the Word data key. Delete that key and Word will
build another default key - see
