I cant capture the sound from my video camera

I am trying to capture a home video with movie maker and when I capture from
device only the picture is captured not the audio as well.
What can I do.

Go to "alt.video.dvd.authoring" news group & ping Ken Maltby. He'll
have you sorted.....fast!!
