I am using Windows Vista Home Basic. I'm the only one using the
computer and I am the administrator.

I tried to uninstall an older version of the Real Audio Player through
the Control Panel, but a window pops up and says that I do not have
proper administrative PRIVILEGES to do this and to check with the
administrator.

How do I do this, since I AM the administrator? How do I get the
PRIVILEGE to uninstall a program?

I would certainly appreciate any help on this.

Thanks in advance.

Bob.

Part of the Vista security structure is that normal "administrators"
have only standard privileges. If you are in this category you must take
ownership of the file or folder in order to delete it. See this...

Good luck, and post back if this works for you.
