I Cannot send messages out in MS Outlook 2007 after installation

I have previously used MS Office 2003 and I installed the upgrade for MS
Office Standard 2007. I am able to receive messages in Outlook, but I cannot
send messages out. I have done the diagnostic check, and updated my computer
with all available updates. I have completed the overview of Outlook-e-mail
profiles. I am using Windows XP with broadband internet service. Any
suggestions on what I can try to do next?

Use test accounts option in outlook and post the resulting err.msg
