I cannot remove PST folders from Outlook 2003

I am having problems with duplicate top level folder names - I have multiple
PST files and each one showns up one or more times. Even after removing the
PST files from Data File Management, the folders still show up - as if they
are cached. When trying to remove them, I get a operation failure - 'Object
could nto be found'. How do I clean this up?

Will try from scratch I guess. I tried copying but it had the same effect. It
will probably take a while since there are multiple accounts and PST files
:-(. Thanks.

You problem sounds like you will be better off to bite the bullet and make a
new profile - but you can try http://www.outlook-tips.net/howto/ghosts.htm
first. At worst, you'll make a mess and still need a new profile....
