Whenever i try to open my "C" Drive it says "Choose the programe you want to
use to open this file". Why does Windows Xp thinks my "C" drive is not a
drivve but a file?

Thanks

It would seem that a file association has been made to your drives. You can
check file associations by opening the Windows Explorer (right-click on the
Start Button, and choose Explore).

Click Tools >> Folder options. This will open the folder options dialog.
Click the tab that reads "File Types." Look at both the folder and drive
associations in the list. They should read "None." I have a feeling that
yours is associated to something else.

Hello,
I have checked it already its not the problem...can you come up with
something diffrent plz....thanks

When Windows presents you with the option to open drive C: with a program,
what program do you choose? Perhaps choosing explorer.exe will reassociate
the drive with explorer?
