I cannot install Windows 2000 Professional in my system.
This is the configuration for my computer:-

Pentium II Celeron 400 MHz
128 MB SDRAM
SIS 3D Graphics Card 64 MB
4 GB Hard Disk

STOP: 0x00000044 (0x81495E68, 0x00000CCA, 0x00000000,
0x00000000)

MULTIPLE_IRP_COMPLETE_REQUESTS

If this is the first time you've seen this stop error
screen, restart your computer. If this screen appears
again, follow these steps:

Check to make sure any new hardware and software is
properly installed. If this is a new installation, ask
your hardware or software manufacturer for any windows
2000 updates you might need.

If problems continue, disable or remove any newly
installed hardware and software.

Disable BIOS memory options such as caching or shadowing.

If you need to use safe mode to remove or disable
components restart your computer, press F8 to select
Advanced Startup Option, and then safe Mode.

After running the Windows 2000 professional setup and
rebooting the system I will get the above mentioned error
(this will be showing in a blue screen).

Please help me if you having any solution for this
problem.

Greetings,

Is this a clean install or are you over-writing a older
version of Windows?

You may need W2k-compatible drivers for various hardware.

The first thing to do, as the article suggests, is to
download W2k drivers - start with your graphics card.

See if that works ... if not, keep looking for W2k drivers
for other hardware in your PC.

Kindest regards,

James
