i cannot install my camera

i have a concord digital camera but my pc does not seem to recognise it and i
can`t upload my photo`s. i`ve tried the installer disc but nothing
happens.please help!

Did you follow the instructions and load the software and drivers BEFORE
hooking up the camera?
