i cannot get my print spooler to start

I am trying to install my printer and I can not get my
print spooler to start, when I go to turn it on, I know
where it is, it won't do anything, I just get error
messages.... I am not paying Dell 30 bucks to tell me how
to do something they did not turn on when I purchashed my
computer!!! ugh! i need help please!!!!!!
