I cannot get my IE to work! Only able to access the web through AOL. Did I delete something?

I am frustrated and can't figure out what I did wrong. I had People PC for a few weeks but it was too slow so I deleted it, and its software. Since then, I cannot get IE to work -- keeps getting errors -- and can only access the web via AOL. ARGH! Suggestions? Did I remove a necessary file?
 
Without knowing exactly what files got deleted, your best bet may be to
attempt a repair install:

You might have lost a link that internet explorer needs.
You could do a Xp repair to fix it.
