i have got a computer that has two disk drives, they both used to be
working fine but after i re installed windows on my computer the
second drive disapeard (disk drive E).
i clicked on start>control panel>administrative tools>computer
management>disk management and i could see my drive that is not
working it says the drive is healthy (active) and its a NTFS, when i
right click it on the bottom of the window the only options that come
up are delete partition , on the left of that i right clicked disk1
and the pop-up window said the device is working fine... can anyone
help me on how to get it to show when i click on my computer ( i can
only see local disk C not E)

With diskmanager you have to give it a name,
click Control panel,
Administrative tools,
Computer management,
Storage,
Disk managment.
Now I just hope both drives are of basic type.
If one or more are of type Dynamic you have a problem.
If basic, rightclick on the drivepartition in question.
In the menu you see "change driveletter and paths"
choose that and change the disk letter.

You can also type into help Change drive letter
and follow directions from there.
