I ran a software product that had an option to prevent websites from resetting my home page. I selected that option and now I cannot change my home page my self and unfortunately the tools option of that product disappeared from my menu of that product. Is there a registry setting or something that can be changed so I may change my home page again?

Thanks for any assistance

Darre

PS. The software product is Spybot Search and Destroy a freeware product recommended to me by a local ISP to reduce the spyware on my PC

You can remove the home page setting restriction by downloading this
utility:

Have you tried changing it from Internet Options? Click on Tools from your Browser (any webpage) then click on Internet Options at the bottom and you can change your homepage right there unless your program thingy has priority over that or something.
