I am having a problem sorting this out. I have done everything asked of me by
AOL but I still cannot send email. I can receive OK. Can anybody help?

What sort of error are you receiving? Whose mail servers are you using?

Error message (0x800CCCOD). I understand from AOL this indicates I have not
configures it corrctly, but i know I have. They are now saying it is a
problem woth AOL's compatibility with Outlook but I'm not convinced because I
have had this problem for a few weeks now. Anybody else having problems with
AOL?

Hi

I am having a similar problem, only with slightly different error messages.
Below is the post I put on the General Questions board...........

"Hi.......

Just a quick update on this problem.

Last night, I updated to the B2TR version and I am still having problems
sending mail. The error messages remain the same.

Am I doing something stupid?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Best Wishes

Hi!

I installed Outlook 2007 Beta 2 and have had it working with no problems for
a few months on Win XP Home. For some reason, I am now unable to send mail
from any of my accounts (I have 3 IMAP accounts and one new POP3 account that
I added today.) I have AOL as my ISP. I have not changed any settings at all,
but I was away on business for a short whle - I returned from my trip and now
this problem.

The error message I receive on the IMAP accounts is 'Task 'KALM Productions
- Sending' reported error (0x800CCC78): 'Cannot send the message' Verify the
e-mail address n your account properties. The server responded: 535
AUTHENTICATION FAILED'

The error message I receive on the POP3 account is: Task'Andy Lewis -
Sending' reported error (0x800CCC0F) : 'The connection to the server was
interrupted. If this problem continues, contact your server admnistrator or
Internet Service Provider.'

I have contacted AOL and they assure me nothing is different at their end.
Also, I have another PC at home running Outlook 2003 and that works fine with
all the same settings.

Please help.

I'm having the same problem, it all worked fine until a few (3-4?) weeks
ago. If you get an answer please let me know.

Hi

I have been hoping for an answer for this, but the last time I checked, the
entry of this problem that I submitted to one of the other discussion groups
had just been removed with no comments posted.

Has anyone had any resolution to this problem, as I am still having the
issues with no change and no useful comments from AOL?

Andy
