I just wrote an email a few minutes ago. But here goes again. I'm a senior
citizen and not computer learned. I would like to email from pages I'm
reading to myself and/or friends. When I do, I get this message:The host
'SMTP' could not be found. Please verify that you have entered the server
name correctly.
Subject 'Emailing: IMAGE_442[1]', Account: 'POP3', Server: 'SMTP',
Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 11001, Error Number:
0x800CCC0D
I can "cut and paste" as I just doid But I have 30 plus email stuck in a
popup little window each time I try to email from a page. So, please help
some of you computer pros.
thank you!!

Please see my reply in your other post . . . . . . (no need to post twice -
just pick one and we'll all stay with it !!)

This is an elderly lady who does not want to learn how to use a mail client program.
Please try to accommodate her level of expertise.

Hi Vivian.
I answered you in your thread "Help can't email pages".
To avoid unnecessary duplication, please limit posting to one thread
per issue.

Thanks,

I'm not sure why you would choose to make this comment to me when you should
have seen my response in her other thread, since you also posted there 2
minutes prior to this. My response there did attempt to address the OP's
KSA - politely.

Well, I was mainly trying to point out that advising folks to go pay for a
Yahoo PLUS account isn't always the best solution, especially so when
the OP is only familiar with webmail.

I suggested she get WLM and a free account there . . . . . I merely pointed
out she would need YPlus if she chose to use Yahoo (which she already has) .
.. . . .
