Hi

I was setting up a home network. I changed the company domain to workgroup called home. The computor had to restart. Now I can not log in with my user name and password. I'am using windows 2000 sp4 professional. The error message also states that I could have a incorrect domain, but it does not give me a option to change it. How can I get into the computor to correct this?

The issue you have is that your account is not stored
locally on the machine, but instead it is stored on the
Domain to which you used to login.

You can login to the system as Administrator, if you know
that password, and set yourself up with a local account.
Then you could move the items in your old profile (for
the domain account) over into the new account's profile.

Alternatively, you could system back to your company
network, reconfigure it as a member of the domain, and
login using your domain account and password. That will
get you to your data and your profile and such, but it
won't help you much to use the system on your home
network.

Better get that Administrator password...
