I have tried every possible e-mail service I can think of and am unable to
get access to them with Outlook 2007. Why is this so hard? Can anyone help
me.?

Need more detail. What "e-mail service" have you tried? How have you
configured each one? What error messages are you getting?

Thanks for responding Tim. I have tried Gmail, Yahoo and Hotmail. I go
through the account settings and set up each one as they instruct with the
settings. I get the same error each time. Here are the error messages:

Log onto incoming mail server (POP3): Outlook cannot connect to your
incoming (POP3) e-mail server. If you continue to receive this message,
contact your server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP).

Send test e-mail message: Outlook cannot connect to your outgoing (SMTP)
e-mail server. If you continue to receive this message, contact your server
administrator or Internet service provider (ISP).

OK...forgive me, but I have to ask...have you signed up with these
e-mail services (i.e. do you have a username and password)?

If so, does the web version of each of these accounts work OK?

If so and you have a firewall, try turning it off as a test.
