IE6 is already part of WinXP. If you install WinXP SP2 then you'll have IE6 SP2 as well.

{ Dave pulling teeth again ! }

You mean you downloaded IE7 and you want to go back to IE6 ?

If that is true, why did you download and install a "Beta" software in the first place ?

because i want it to try it out but don't like it

Never install a beta (that can mean "testing, not finished, use at your own
risk, could destroy your computer and all data on it" and so on..) on a
"production" system. Any machine you are willing to completely destroy all
data on without warning and rebuild from total scratch is okay. One you use
daily and have stuff on you would not like to lose - not usually one you
want to use for beta testing software..

Control Panel --> Add/Remove Programs and try to find it there.

No? Read this:

http://msdn.microsoft.com/ie/releasenotes/default.aspx

Scroll down to the "Uninstalling" sections.

Just curious; I haven't tried this (nor played with IE7 at all yet) but
would a system restore perhaps work?

De nada. But, as usual, I may be wrong about SR as Sandi recommends
creating a RP prior to installing any version of the Beta.
Playing with a Beta of IE7 may be hazardous to one's sanity. ;)

Nope. But Sandi Hardemeier's instructions do :

I'm not a beta kind of girl. I prefer that others be the guinea pigs, and
I'll learn from their mistakes. ;-)
