I can not download Adobe Flash Player and my Internet Explorer keeps giving
me a message saying "Internet Explorer has stopped working. Do you want to
search for a solution?" I say yes then it starts working again.
Windows Vista Ultimate. IE7.

Download and run the Adobe Flash Player uninstaller:
http://kb.adobe.com/selfservice/viewContent.do?externalId=tn_14157

or direct download:

Adobe Flash Player Uninstaller:
http://download.macromedia.com/pub/flashplayer/current/uninstall_flash_player.exe

Close all IE windows and run the Flash Player Uninstaller.

Then visit:
http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/download.cgi?P1_Prod_Version=ShockwaveFlash

and click on "Install Now".

When I click on your first link:
I get a message Titled Windows Internet Explorer
Internet Explorer cannot download uninstall_flash_player.exe
from.macromedia.com
Internet Explorer was not able to open this Internet site. The requested
site is either unavailable or cannot be found. Please try again later. (with
a round red x in left upper corner.

I get the same message with the second link also. I went to tools/ options/
privacy and made sure the site was allowed. It made no difference.

Hi
I have 32 bit
What hapin when you go to a web that uses Adobe flash
Sites like MSN.com News Cnn.com and others
When I tried to wach there video thy said need adobe flash
and then opened the download site
I downloaded with no problem

I have 32 bit also. My problems were probably caused because I uninstalled
the flash player from 'uninstall programs' without using the special tool.
Someone sent me the file to uninstall it correctly through my Windows live
messenger. I ran it from there and was then able to download the Flash
Player and install it correctly. Things seem to be working fine now. Thank
you.
