Hi,
I was deleting some fonts that I never use (because the fonts drop-down
in various programs was just too long and annoying, so I thought I'd
delete a bunch that I know I never use). One of them though, was called
Tribuchet (or something like that) and it turns out this was used by my
default windows theme. I noticed it quickly because all my windows had
no text on them. I quickly found this in the display appearance tab and
gave it Arial and now it's happy.
The side effect though is that now I have tiny minimize, maximize and
close buttons. This size of the title bar is also smaller. I can't find
where this setting is. I've taken a screenshot of how small they are. To
give a sense of scale, I ran Microsoft Virtual PC and showed the size
of the buttons inside it.
