I'm new to this site, so please be patient with me.

I have made a movie using photos, and added music looks great, however when
it came to publish this movie, it would not allow to burn on dvd, it only
let me burn on recordable cd, why ?? so I did burn on a disk (dvd-r)
however my dvd player would not recognize it. is it because i'm running
vista business,??? Would it be possible to add on dvd maker, or is it the
same as movie maker ( bit confused). Found movie maker very easy to use
apart from this problem. Would I have to upgrade my vista to Ultimate...

Any feedback would be appreciated. very new to all this. but lots of fun.

Thanks in advance.

Yes, only the Home Premium and Ultimate versions of Vista have Microsoft's
DVD Maker.... and it's not available except by upgrading to one of those
versions.

But, if your system has a DVD burner, it probably has DVD making software
which can use the movies saved to your hard drive by Movie Maker.

Thank you, I was not sure if I could do that, I have the Nero, and also
Roxio burning software, however I have no idea how incorporate the saved
movie maker project into one of these software. Or do I have to start all
over again. ????
Thanks

you don't use the Movie Maker project file (.MSWMM) in your DVD software.
you save the movie from the project and use the movie (either wmv or DV-AVI
format).
