Desperately seeking Knowledge

I purchased a computer with WIN2000 Professional and I was
having a problem with my memory and "My Loving Son" that
knows about computers said he would help and...BOY DID
HE!! He erased every single thing off it. Now my problem
is that I do have the setup disk but it keeps loading only
the step by step interactive. I want my 2000Prof back and
I am not willing to let my son come near my computer
again!!Can someone please help or did they just give me
half of the the WIN2000 Prof program that I need to get it
up and running, WIN98 SE just isn't the same. PLEASE HELP,
I CANT AFFORD TO START FROM SCRATCH.

To do a clean install, either boot the Windows 2000 install CD-Rom or setup
disks. The set of four install disks can be created from your Windows 2000
CD-Rom; change to the \bootdisk directory on the CD-Rom and execute
makeboot.exe (from dos) or makebt32.exe (from 32 bit) and follow the
prompts.

When you get to the point, delete the existing NTFS and or other partitions
found. After you delete the partition(s) abort the install, then again
restart the pc booting the CD-Rom or setup disks to avoid unexpected drive
letter assignments with your new install.
