I seem to occasionally lose a few of my contacts in my address book. Why is
this happening and how do I fix it? Thanks, David

You've posted no details that would permit an answer.
If you asking does Outlook randomly lose data for no reason, that answer is
no.

Not sure how to respond. Every once in awhile, I look in my contact address
book and find that I have lost every name under "b" or something like that.
The only thing that could affect this is the I sync to my computer with a PDA
however, under conatcs I have "do nothing"

Let's start with your Outlook version and to which address book you are
referring.
No version of the Outlook Address Book I've ever seen is even grouped by
alphabet. So I don't know what you mean by "everything under b"

Outlook 2003. I list my contacts last name first.

Next step.
Are your Contacts missing from the Contacts Folder in which they reside, or
just the Address Book (in which they do not).
