I have been experiencing many problems with PST files due
to the issue with 1.4 GB limit and it blowing up. After
running the scanpst.exe file, I can get the PST to open
long enough to move some of the folders out of it. One
question I have is when I look at the PST via explorer it
still shows its old 1.4GB size. When I look at it via
its properties in Outlook, it shows what I believe to be
its true size. Any Idea why I get two different file
sizes?
I am also having problems getting Outlook to relink back
to a disconnected PST. Before I run scanpst I remove it
from Outlooks data file list. I run scanpst. When it
completes I try to add it back as an Outlooks data file.
All I get is the hour glass. These PSt's are 600K and
350K so they are well below the size issue. Any ideas on
why Outlook is having this issue?
Thanks,
