I am having trouble viewing a .pps file. using power point n/g ?

I cannot find a way to view these .pps files I keep getting. I downloaded
Microsoft PowerPoint, went to Folder Options and changed the pps file to be
opened with power point and still it will not open. Does anyone have any
suggestions.

Frustrated for now!

How are you trying to make it open? How are you getting the files?

In some email programs, you can't always doubleclick a file to open it. You
may need to do something to force the email app to save the attachment to a
disk file then open that.

i can't open pps file getting from email.
i have vista and power point 2007 already installing

what can i do?

What happens when you try to open the file from your email?

What email program are you using?

What happens if you save the file to your harddrive and double-click it?
