I am having the exact same problem

This may be an easy one but I'm pretty new to this
When I insert a chart - bar graph or line - I can edit it and change dat
points and so forth. Once I come out of edit mode, I can't get back i
again - I get the error message "The server application, source file, o
item can't be found, or returned an unknown error. You may need to reinstal
the server application
I have done a 'detect and repair' from within PP, and 'repair office' fro
the CD. No luck so far. Do I need to uninstall the entire Office suite an
reinstall

There's a good chance that you are running into a known problem with Office
applications and Norton's AntiVirus software.
