I am having problems with transparent windows.

Recently over the past few weeks I have been experiencing difficulties
with internet explorer. I have windows 98se and everytime I try to
enter a link say from my email message a transparent box comes up, this
is instead of the web page.

The box comes up as internet explorer and everything inside the box is
invisible except what's behind.

Can anybody help with advice.

You've posted in a newsgroup for the Windows XP operating system. You'd
do better to post in a Win98 group. Here is a list of all the MS
