Hyperthreading

Question: Could turning off hyperthreading of my 2.8gig P4
inprove its speed in handling video editing? Task manager
shows only 50% cpu usage. Installed are 2 512meg DDR4100
mem chips, one in channel A, the other in channel B. If
this MAY help, how do I turn it off??,,Thanks, Paul

No, I don't think so. Check that your application is written to use more
than one processor.

Hyperthreading is - or should be - a setting in your BIOS.
