Larry,
It's hidden from the Add/remove Components window. There is a way to un-hide
it so you can uninstall it though.
Go to Start - Run and type in \windows\inf - Find and open the file called
sysoc.inf.
Find the line CommApps=... remove the HIDE, and nothing else (leave the
commas).
It should now read: CommApps=ocgen.dll,OcEntry,communic.inf,,7
Save and close the sysoc.inf file.
Reopen Add/Remove Window Components (which can be found in the Add/Remove
programs window). Double click Accessories and Utilities, then
Communications. You should now see HyperTerminal and you should be able to
uninstall it by un-checking it.
