This is my 2nd newsgroup hoping for a solution form
someone/anyone. We upgraded our software from Windows ME
to Windows 2000 Professional about 1 1/2 yrs ago and all
is well.....except that my hyperterminal is now gone! I
cannot sync my Palm, etc. Does anyone know how I can
update or add a new Hyperterminal? The software was not
from MS, it was purchased by a vendor, so MS cannot help
me unless I spend $245. Help!! Thanks in advance......PT

Hyperterminal (hypertrm.exe) is installed with Win2k. It may be found
in the x:\Program Files\Accessories\Hyperterminal folder.

If you are talking about an OEM install of Windows, you will need to ask
your vendor for assistance. Or you may talking about a system with a
recovery Cd made by the system's manufacturer. In this case you will
need to follow your system's manufacturer's instructions in order to get
to the Windows 2000 image so you can use the Add/Remove application
found in the Control Panel.
