In Word 2002 I can insert hyperlinks to bookmarks and other files. They work fine when I click on them, including multiple levels of forward links, but when I try to return by using the "back" arrow on the toolbar, I can only back up one level. After the first return, the "back" arrow is grayed out and I can't get back to previous locations. When I link to other documents, the destination document is opened in a new instance of Word, so I can switch back to a previous instance, but with bookmarks, there seems to be no way to retrace the path back to the origin. I have used extensive hyperlink trees in earlier versions of Word, and I have always been able to return back up the path of links, so this is something new in 2002. I suspect it is the address stack depth that has been set to one, but I can't find any reference to anything that sounds related to that in the menus or the help system
Would someone give me a clue? Thanks
