Hi
We are using Outlook 2003 in an Exch 2003 SP2 environment

I had a user bring this to my attention:

when a hypoerlink is inserted as www.ibm.com within an e-mail message, it
fails to load IE successfully.

You have to type http://www.ibm.com in order for it to launch ie
sucessfully -

I have tried this with several websites.

When IE loads, it inserts this address in the address bar
http://"www.ibm.com"/

Any ideas?

Ian

This sounds like it might be a file association issue. The "%22" in the
address is a representation of a standard quote mark ", so my guess is that
something in the "URL:HyperText Transfer Protocol" file type is adding quote
marks to the address it picks up from a hyperlink.
