I do not know if I am in the right type of group for simple MS Excel
questions...but here goes.

I created and maintain several inventory databases for a long term care
warehouse that I manage. I would like to add multiple hyperlinks for
linking to a specific category within the same worksheet that someone is
perusing. But...I can only seem to add one hyperlink per cell. It
looks really screwy if I have 1 hyperlink per cell, and it just takes up
too much space in the worksheet. So, question simplified is, can I
install multiple hyperlinks within one row(cell)?

Any feedback appreciated, either write here or e-mail me directly, and
please, if I am in the wrong group could someone direct me to the
appropriate one, there were about 75 to choose from...

Thanks, Eric

Hi Eric,
You're in the right group. You just can't put multiple
links into a cell in Excel. Such usage would be completely
incompatible in Excel. You would not be able to extract
the hyperlink from a cell it there were more than one.

You can put multiple hyperlinks in to table cells in MS Word,
HTML and other applications, but I doubt that you will find any
spreadsheet application that does that.

Thanks David-
One of the IT guys where I work told me it wouldn't work either, but I
wanted to explore a bit further...now I know for sure...I thought about
creating or transferring these files to Word, but there is so much info,
I have about 9 columns for each inventory product, and Excel makes it
extremely simple to conduct and calculate physical inventory counts...

Thanks again, Eric
