I posted some pictures to my web page with hyprelinks to
enlarge. When I click on the picture to enlarge it, it
switches to another picture the same size. Then if I click
on the lower right corner of the pix it will expand. What
did I turn on to start this and how do I turn it off so
clicking on the pix will go straight to an enlargement?
I have not experienced this problem in the past.
Thanx in advance for help/ideas/moral support/etc

I think you're explaining the default behavior of IE6. does a little four
pointed arrow pop-up when you mouse over the lower right corner that allows
you to enlarge it.

Yep, thats the puppy. any way to "defete" it?

In Internet Explorer
Tools - Internet Options
Advanced Tag
Scroll to Multimedia Section
Unselect "Enable Automatic Image Resizing
Click OK

This, I think, is a per browser setting that must be set by individual
users.

see, here's the thing. the picture opens as just a picture within the
browser so you can't control it. if the picture opened on a page in the
browser you could specify that it doesn't act that way.
