I have a folder on my LAN that contains various word documents which are
opened and modified by several supervisors. I would like to e-mail all
pertinent supervisors with a message that contains a hyperlink to open the
respective document for them to edit. However, whenever I try to do this,
the document is opened within Internet Explorer and after the user modifies
it and tries to save, an error comes up which states the following:
"The disk is full. Free some space on this drive, or save the document on
another disk. Try one or more of the following:
* Close any unneeded documents, programs, and windows.
* Save the document on another disk"
I have checked and there is definitely enough room to save the document.
Could this be an issue with the link? Perhaps there is a way to modify the
link so that Word opens the doc instead of IE. Any suggestion will be
greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your assistance.
