Hyperlinks suddenly stopped working

Greetings;
My OS is win2000, Office 2002, IE 6.0 and I also use hotmail. All of a
sudden hyperliks in my word documents and in hotmail messages are not working.

In word, I edit the hyperlink, click on OK. When I do a CTRL Click on the
link nothing happens (in fact the standard CTRL Click message in word does
not show). I re-edit the hyperlink adn the hyperlink address is once again
blank.

In my hotmail messages I receive there are sometimes hyperlinks in the
emails. When I click on the hyperlink, a blank IE page opens with nothing in
it.

Try resetting you program access and defaults in the start menu
