Hyperlinks not working

Hi all

Looking for some advice with an odd problem.

I have just upgraded from Win2K to WinXP (clean install), and I am getting
an odd problem, not sure if it in WinXP, Outlook Express or IE6.

What is happening is that any hyperlinks in OE6 will not open IE6 and if I
am using IE6 and a link tries to open a new window, the window opens but
remains blank, it works fine if the new link opens in the same page but not
if it needs to open new window.

Can anyone shed any light on this

Start/Run/[CMD for XP]. Type this command: REGSVR32 URLMON.DLL.
Ok/Reboot.
Then go to: IE/Tools/Internet Options/Programs/Reset Web Settings.

Windows Explorer/Tools/Folder Options/File Types. Scroll down to
URL:HyperText Transfer Protocol/Advanced/Edit. Under Application used to
perform action it should read:
"C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe" -nohome
