hyperlinks not working in slideshow

I'm in an online class using PP slides embedded with .wav files and
hyperlinks (I think--you're supposed to click on a highlighted word and be
taken to a website). When I click on the highlighted words, the area around
the words has a frame--acting as if I'm the author of the slide and want to
make a change to the text box.

Any ideas?! I really need to view the websites for this course.

Any chance you could provide us with a link to the slides so we can have a
look?

I can't (or don't know how) to post a link, because I only access the slide
show via my student account through the university. When the show is open,
there's no web address at the top since it's within the course outline on the
university website. I am clicking on it in the slide show view.

I emailed the prof and he said not to download it form the course site; to
instead just click to "open" it and then right click to get a full page view.
I don't seem to nhave this option. When I click on the link it
automatically starts downloading. Any other ideas?

Try right-clicking on the link instead. That should give you more
options for opening the presentation.

Thanks! That owrked; opened up a list of options including one to open the
hyperlink. This will help so much.
