Listen I can make a computer sit up and beg but I have no
idea where to start to find this corrupted file. When I
clink on a hyperlink in my mail, on a chat room, or try to
autoload help pages or set up wizards. I get redirected
to a geocities address that doesn't exist. I do it again
and I just get my homepage. Or the link doesn't pull up a
window at all. HELP! Though I seriously doubt that I'll
find the answer here I had to try.

I take it you haven't heard of anti-virus software, Ad-Aware, Spybot,
CWShredder, or HijackThis. Otherwise, you would have mentioned already
using these tools to determine if they could catch malware on your
system.
