Hyperlinks No Longer Work

PLEASE! I have a perfectly good HTML page that I use to launch favorite
pages. If I click on a hyperlink that is to a local page, nothing happens.
If the hyperlink is to an internet page, it works fine. Even using
JavaScript to launch the hyperlinked page stopped working! The page use to
work, but suddenly stopped after installing the plethora of MS patches over
the past couple of months. NOW I am getting desperate.

I have read and performed Knowledge Base Article 281679. That didn't help.
I'm willing to reload IE6, but do not know where to get it off the net (and
unloading IE6 is apparently not a simple task).

problem along with other issues. I also cannot find out
how to re-install IE 6. Good luck
